What fluid can oilfield hose convey?

Typical media are drilling mud, water-based fluid, oil-based fluid, crude oil, fuel oil, natural gas and a few chemical liquids. Various medias need different inner rubber materials.

Kinds of oilfield hose?

In the case of oilfield hose, make sure to check the inside diameter, length, working pressure, temperature rang, medium carried, minimum bending radius and connector type. Don’t just judge by hose looks or size.

How does oilfield hose differ from regular industrial hose?

Oilfield hose is generally made to be used in highpressure, heavy duty and challenging oilfield condition. It is more demanding than normal industrial hose in pressure rating, abrasion resistance, oil resistance, connector structure and safety.

How to prolong the life of oilfield hose?

The bending and twisting and pulling of the hose are not allowed to be too violent, and keep a suitable bending radius. Regularly check outer rubber, connectors, reinforcement layer; replace immediately once anything abnormal is found.
